My adventure with YES TO products started a little over half a year ago. I was about 6 months pregnant at that time and in great need of GREEN beauty products that actually work. I went on Amazon and browsed, browsed, browsed. First I discovered the facial towelletes (YES TO Cucumber), and from there it was all too easy to get caught up in the YES TO buying frenzy.
So far, I've tried the YES TO Carrots night cream, body lotion and shower gel, as well as the YES TO Grapefruit facial scrub. And of course, the one that started it all for me, the YES TO Cucumber facial towelletes.
What I love about this brand, is that all their products are at least 95% natural (some are 98% or 99%!). They're all Petroleum, SLS, & Paraben Free. AND - these guys don't test on animals, so they're also cruelty free.
My husband LOVES the YES TO Carrots line, the lotion and body wash help soothe his skin (he's struggling with eczema). Both these products are practically fragrance-free (there's a faint carrot smell, but it's very pleasant), and it's a big deal for him, he won't use products with artificial fragrances.
The YES TO Baby Carrots Wipes are perfect for both the mommy and the baby! They're very gentle on your skin.

I don't have a favorite green product, which sucks, since I'm all about the environment and natural products! Well, I do use Aveeno natural body wash since I have sensitive skin. I'll definitely need to check out this brand though, since I can't use stuff with fragrance in it.

ReplyDeleteI really like organic coconut oil as a makeup remover and cleanser, and use it daily. It's also very inexpensive, which is a definite plus! I've tried a few green product lines and one of my favorite is Pai Skincare. Pai's Rosehip facial oil has quickly become one of my must have beauty products. ~Emily S.

ReplyDeleteI like 100 % pure beauty products made from fruit pigments. I think that anything green nowadays is help for the future generations! Use what you can get a hold of and brush the others to the side.

ReplyDeleteRight now I am obsessed with Primal Pits deodorant. It is the only natural deodorant I have found that actually works, and when you are in FL and it hits the 90's outside in May, you really appreciate that.
